@nanobpm/nano-coder
nano-coder is the worker at the bottom of the Nano stack: a terminal coding agent small enough that Nano Workforce graphs can fan out dozens of them on one machine — durable, resumable, and supervised by the engine.
npm install -g @nanobpm/nano-coder
Prebuilt binaries for macOS and Linux (x64, arm64). Or cargo install nano-coder.
Written in Rust. Node-based agent CLIs take 150–660MB; nano-coder lets you run a dense fleet of workers on one laptop.
A streaming terminal REPL with steering and queued prompts — or headless over ACP (JSON-RPC 2.0 on stdio) as a Nano Workforce worker.
OpenAI-compatible and Anthropic endpoints, remote or local, selected per model as provider/model.
Task plans live outside the conversation, so work survives compaction, resume and a change of worker. Sessions are append-only JSONL.
Destructive-command guards, allow/deny rules, and an optional OS sandbox (Seatbelt on macOS, Landlock on Linux).
Reads AGENTS.md / CLAUDE.md, loads SKILL.md skills on demand, and runs Claude Code–compatible hooks.
